I am sorry to say but I find this pod cast very disappointing.
It just sounds like two old men on a bench reflecting & reminiscing the good old days.
I was expecting some serious conversation about our current problems.
Why has our youth policy gone out the window?.
Why did we give one of our main competitors a scoring centre forward?
So many current issues to discuss but 95% of the podcast is ancient history. By the way I am 71.
I will listen next week and hope it is more interesting.
Sad information Jim Fleming died late last year. Played 1967-69 signed from Dunfermline. Scored 13 goals.
My comments are meant to be constructive. You are well versed on Heart of Midlothian

Hi Lawrence, thanks for the feedback. We felt like we’d gone over a lot of the issues again and again (we do a weekly show) and wanted to mix it up rather than just keep repeating ourselves.

We’re always happy to receive feedback though, but being 34 (I’m Laurie) I’d hope I’m not too much of an old man on a bench yet. Can’t say the same for Mark though!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I belong on that bench being 71. M first game was V Airdrie 30th Sept.1961. Willie Bauld scored in 18secs and Hearts won 4-1. I belong on that bench but I fear we are not building a team that can compete against as you said last week against less supported and less financed team. WHY , where are the youngsters ec,etc
Thanks again and will look forward to next weeks podcast.
    Cheers
    Lawrence
