Lads, really enjoyed the latest pod. You guys are discussing the exact same points me and my mates are talking about. The atmosphere in the stadium, we need to relax and get behind the team but as you say, neither we or the players are used to where we are.
I worry, should we not win the league that fans will turn against McInnes, when really, if we finish 3rd he’s probably met his season objective.
Even though we’re 6 points clear, I think it’s probably more likely we finish 3rd this season.
If we finish 3rd and McInnes doesn’t win the majority of the derbies, is that a successful season? It could feasibly happen.
9 points before the split feels like a massive ask, but we have to believe.
