Great episode thanks. What a start to his Hearts career for Cammy Devlin. He really seems to have been welcomed by everyone at the club – fans and staff. Good to hear how the new Hearts arrivals, loans and permanent signings, are bonding and also integrating with the longer term players.
In this wonderful success story, one player I feel rather sorry for is Aaron McEnuff. He seems to be a similar style player to Cammy Devlin but has been cast aside. I think his last opportunity to contribute was at Parkhead and he came on and scored a goal. He arrived at the club during Covid restrictions and missed out on the opportunity to bond with others. Almost seems like he is yesterday’s news.
Thanks for the positive feedback, Jurek.
In regards to McEneff, his time may still well come this season – it’s a long campaign and the squad will have to be utilised more before long. I think different options will be required in certain matches, and inevitably there will be suspensions, injury and fatigue.
First time I have listened to a podcast. Wasn’t even sure what it was. Very enjoyable. Canny came across very well..
Glad you enjoyed your first podcast Audrey, and we agree – Cammy was great!
We release a new episode each week, so feel to drop by again 🙂
That was superb, lads. Great show. I’ve been listening the last couple of months and just wanted to thank you for what you are doing.
Cammy came across almost exactly as his smiling face looks on the park. I see a big future for this kid, hopefully after a good few years with us.
Thanks for the feedback Goz, we really appreciate it and glad you’ve been enjoying the podcast.
