McGowan Signs!

Scarves Around the Funnel are delighted to announce the arrival of Hearts cup winner Ryan McGowan as a regular member of the team. Ryan joins current hosts Laurie Dunsire and Mark Donaldson, providing depth to the Scarves squad.

Speaking to the media today, Dunsire explained; “Ryan really hasn’t given us much choice, given he’s now just started appearing on random episodes of the podcast. But we’ve been trying to reduce the average age of the podcast team this season, so Ryan helps us do that. Plus he has a lot more hair than Mark.”

A delighted McGowan told the gathered press; “It’s what the fans of the podcast have been crying out for.”

Despite being younger, richer, fitter, better looking and much more famous than Laurie and Mark, 32-year-old Ryan will have to settle for a role as squad player and won’t be an automatic first choice each week. A bit like his international career.
