Enjoying the podcast very much. On the Brandon dismissal point no-one seems to be mentioning Browns yellow card for his high kick into Haring’s chest. That, in my view, was a deliberate act and in retribution to Haring’s challenge on a Celtic play a couple of seconds earlier. It was more of an “excessive force” challenge than Brandon’s. As well, the penalty that Hearts were awarded didn’t see the Celtic player yellow carded which he should have been. This isn’t a case of consistency but basic law. You see it you deal with it. It’s black and white. How quickly were Hearts players yellow carded? The card was out so quickly that it almost melted with the friction of coming out of the pocket. I’ve always liked Steven as a ref but not on this showing unfortunately. VAR IS the way to go to take the pressure off the refs especially when the ugly sisters are involved. Cheers.
